Podcast: Betts, Butts, Ball Game

4th April 2018

Easter weekends don’t come much sweeter than than what Fulham have experienced, as back-to-back 2-0 wins made it a perfect return from the international break for the Whites.

A dominant victory over a Norwich City side who caused Fulham numerous problems both last year and in August was a Good Friday harbinger of what was to come, before Leeds United were put to the sword in similar fashion at the Cottage with the Paschal festivities all but wrapped up.

It was treats for everyone as Stef, TC, KMac and Mitro all grabbed goals, but the Easter Bunny was the one and only Marcus Bettinelli, who produced two excellent performances and two clean sheets to match as the Whites looked to put the pressure on second place Cardiff City.

Whilst that second spot remains elusive for the moment, the podcast gang wrapped up the weekend’s events with two debutants joining Jack and Sammy for a special post-game shutdown – the much coveted nous of Lydia Campbell was coupled with our favourite Tim Ream fanboy Nathan Martin to shake things up a bit.

There was a full breakdown of both games, some fun StefJo craic and a couple of questions to boot as Fulhamish returned for an entree into the final straight of the season.
