Podcast: Deadline Day Double

2nd September 2021

Fulham looked to Marco Silva’s old club Watford on Deadline Day to bring in midfield reinforcements in the shape of Nathaniel Chalobah and Domingos Quina, as Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa left for the culinary delights and European football of Napoli. Jack and Peter talk through how the day went down, who Fulham were in for, and how the new boys will fit into the midfield rotation.

Then we take a glance over the window as a whole, and how it’s been a far more pleasant experience this time round – are Fulham finally learning the lessons of the past to build a squad that can compete and doesn’t need huge reinvestment if we are promoted?

Finally, we talk to Brazilian journalist and Flamengo expert Cahê Mota to get some insight on the elusive, mysterious No. 9 option that is Rodrigo Muniz – our new boy from Brazil.
