Podcast: Mbabu Fuelling Fire

2nd August 2022

The final pre-season friendly is over, and the Premier League season is just around the corner. It should be a time of excitement for Fulham fans, but right now it feels like a case of déjà vu with recruitment woes and a manager getting angsty in the press.

In today’s episode we reflect on the 1-1 draw against Villarreal, before diving into those comments Marco Silva made. We look at how Fulham have managed to mess up centre-back recruitment again, and what remedies there are to plug the gap against Liverpool.

In the final part of the podcast, we delve into your questions on some issues outside of recruitment, including Wolves travel, Harry Wilson’s injury and the role Tom Cairney could play this season.
