Podcast: Jedi Fallen Order

5th September 2022

Fulham made a migration from the West to the North of the Capital for the second time in a week on Saturday to face Tottenham, and fell to the same fate as had happened to us down the Seven Sisters Road in Arsenal just seven days previously, losing by two goals to one.

It wasn’t vintage Fulham, and the first 45 in particular was a real struggle, but this side’s plucky determination and dogged defending meant that we stayed in the contest right to the death – an endurance we’re going to need this season in the Premier League if we’re going to survive. We dissected the game for both positives and negatives.

There were plenty of questions, ranging from safe standing to changes of system, and from debuts to the World Cup break; and we discussed also the potential ramifications of an injury to Antonee Robinson and Jay Stansfield’s emotional loan return to Exeter City.
