Podcast: Muniz’s Wig Wham

10th February 2025

Fulham secured a place in the fifth round of the FA Cup, away in front of 2,000 travelling fans at the Brick Community Stadium. Jack Collins is joined by Elizabeth, Dan and Jack Kelly as they look back on a job done against Wigan to keep Fulham in the competition.

It was not the smoothest of wins over an average League One side but two Brazilians saved the attacking show in the north-west. Two Muniz goals mimic a similar February period for him last season which will hopefully see a continued purple patch to last the rest of the season. The team reflect on similar star performances from Cuenca and Sess as they appear in Silva’s heavily rotated starting eleven, and there is a mention of another poor performance from Fulham’s substitute goalkeeper, Steven Benda.

In part two, they answer some of your listener questions. Should Sess be considered for the left wing? How does Berge remain so press-resistant? Who would they like Fulham to draw in the next round of the FA Cup? And there is a return to the Alistair Mackintosh debate after the travelling fans strongly demonstrated a desire for change.
