Podcast: A Gull-den Opportunity

6th March 2025

Sammy and Jack look back once more to Fulham’s stunning win over Manchester United at the weekend. Was it actually the most pleasant game of football to watch in actuality? Heart rates were high and nerves sickening, but the result is that Fulham are in the quarter-finals. The team now face a Crystal Palace team in the next round that maybe is not the neutrals first choice but will certainly be a challenge. The FA Cup has opened up with Manchester City and Preston being the standout teams from opposing ends, can Fulham take advantage?

Looking forward to a trip down to the south coast, they consider whether Brighton really see Fulham as their bogey team. Fulham are unbeaten in the past 9 league fixtures against Brighton but some of those games have been gloomy. It will not be an easy match at the Amex against Hurzeler’s side.

In part two, they answer some of your listener questions, responding to accusations that fans are too quick to be unsatisfied with Fulham’s current position in the table and recent league results.
