Before The Whistle: Arsenal v Fulham
Written by Drew Heatley on 31st March 2025

Time to concentrate on the league, then.
With the chance of FA Cup glory firmly in the rearview mirror, we don’t have long to lick any wounds as we travel to North London to face an Arsenal side that has got used to watching Liverpool stride off into the distance towards the Premier League title.
We’re unbeaten in our last three against the Gunners, winning one and drawing two, most recently in December. And we’re evenly matched in terms of league form, so while it feels like we’ll get a right pasting, it could be a closely contested affair, particularly when you factor in our away form this term.
Marco is unlikely to make too many changes, despite Saturday’s disappointment. It was probably the best XI we could field against Palace, so there’s not much room for tinkering.
Despite Muniz’s decent showing, a strong argument could be made for bringing in Raul Jimenez, after his impressive international break. Aside from that it’ll be as you were I’d imagine.
The build up for this is a bit flat, as is the feeling around the club after the weekend’s disappointment. But European qualification is still very much on the cards – and we’re still a very good Premier League side. Let’s dust ourselves off and carry on. You Whites.
