Player Ratings: Bournemouth 1-0 Fulham

Well, here’s to a week of hearing the phrase ‘consistently inconsistent’.
After the Whites succumbed to a goal within the first minute to make sure they added another L to their win-loss pattern, how did the boys get on?
Bernd Leno
Kept us in the game. Made a fantastic save against Evanilson that really didn’t need to go to VAR, but our German was vindicated. 7/10 – man of the match
Timothy Castagne
A tought night for the Belgian. Made the error that started Bournemouth’s attack, resulting in the game’s only goal. Kenny back in for Chelsea? 5/10
Joachim Andersen
Turned too easily by Semenyo for the goal. Needs to be better when under pressure. 5/10
Calvin Bassey
By far the better centre-back last night. Was still shrugged off far too easily by Evanilson, forcing Leno into action. 6/10
Antonee Robinson
Awful night for Jedi. At fault for the goal, and struggled to hit anyone with his crosses. Might have knocked a million or two off his price tag. 4/10
Sander Berge
Did well enough, but was collateral damage in our triple substitution early in the second half. 6/10
Sasa Lukic
Would’ve perhaps taken him off instead of Berge. Not in the best vein of form and found himself in attacking positions with zero nouse. 5/10
Andreas Pereira
Has made the 10 his again – which is perhaps surprising, but more of a indictment on ESR. Shouldn’t have come off. 6/10
Ryan Sessegnon
Was our brightest spark. Should’ve done better with his header. If it was an admin error that forced him off, we should complain. 7/10
Alex Iwobi
Decent enough. Had our best chance of the second half and actually forced Kepa to move, unlike some of our other tame efforts. 7/10
Rodrigo Muniz
Could have – should have – equalised in the first half. Did everything right but the finish. Didn’t deserve to come off, but I see why Marco did it. 6/10
Substitutes
Adama Traore (57′ for Ryan Sessegnon)
Ineffective. Poster boy for what I thought were poor substitutions last night. 5/10
Raul Jimenez (57′ for Rodrigo Muniz)
Should’ve left Roddy on. 5/10
Tom Cairney (59′ for Sander Berge)
Best of the subs, but it’s not a high bar. Tried to bring ESR to life. I can remember a tame left-footed shot, too. 6/10
Emile Smith Rowe (69′ for Andreas Pereira)
Lack of energy from ESR. Will cop the abuse – feel like he just needs a summer reset, his season is over. 5/10
Willian (85′ for Sasa Lukic)
Felt like he could have been the answer. He wasn’t. (Not on long enough to rate.)
